Knowing if the guy you have recently met, the man that sends your heart into a spin and creates a surge of adrenalin through your veins when he calls is really your soulmate and not just a lustful pleasure is vexing question to consider.

Often when finding love, we get swept away with the initial excitement of someone new.

Finding love, separating love and lust in the early days is difficult, if not impossible. More time together is required to really answer this question.

Using the Law of Attraction in Attracting Soulmates

There are so many things that can be said about using the Law of Attraction in attracting soulmates, here are some thoughts for now…

Treat yourself how you want your soul mate to be. See in yourself the things you are looking for.

Often people are looking for qualities on the outside which they feel they do not have on the inside, they project them onto the outside world and expect it to compensate for what they’re looking for within, whether that be confidence, love, self value, beauty, wealth, etc etc

If you got your soul mate what would you have? What would you feel? And how/where are in your life currently relative to this?

If when you ask that you get a positive emotion then your soul mate’s on their way. If it’s not so positive and you feel your soul mate will provide these, work on having these qualities in your life – and I say qualities, which is FEEL as if you have them, live from the place of having them. You can feel beautiful no matter how you look, you can feel wealthy no matter how much you have. Your skill is in seeing the beauty, wealth (or any other quality). If you can’t see it how can you expect someone else to?

You will then find you’re not looking for your soul mate in the same way – because you have what you’re looking for, and your soul mate will be an expression of that, rather than trying to fill a gap so to speak, it will be a different feeling/experience – but in turn you are also more attractive (spiritually/vibrationally) for what you’re looking for and you are getting closer to it. As your attention is on what you have (than on what you lack), that will manifest on a physical level. You will also be more ‘attractive’ and people will be drawn to you because they will feel it vibrationally. They will see you are not looking towards others to fill something you feel may be lacking but instead are in your own joy and they will want to be a part of it, and it grows and grows

In actual fact, everything and everyone you attract is your ’soulmate’ because everything is from spirit (where you have come from too) and everything you experience is a match to the vibrational signal you are giving, though classically it’s referred to as that wonderful magical synchronistic experience.

Soul mates. The very phrase conjures up images of happily-ever-after and someone to lean on when things get tough. And then…reality check. You find yourself sitting home watching Blind Date with a boxful of tissues because your supposed soul mate ditched you for that co-worker you just knew was putting the moves on your one and only.

No one likes to be in this situation, but it’s happened to the best of us. As they say, some things are meant to be, but were there some things that could have been preventable?

Here are six ways to lose your soul mate and how you can avoid every single one of them:

1. Become his mother

It was once believed that in order to keep a soul mate you had to show your soul mate that you could do everything for him his Mama used to do: cook those nice, big Sunday dinners, mend his shirts, and basically be at his beck and call whenever he was in dire need of guidance. Okay, a bit old-fashioned, but you’d be amazed how many women still do this. While it’s a great thing to show your mate how much you care by cooking him a pot roast dinner after a long day at work, it gets a little overbearing when it’s starting to look like he married his mother and not the vibrant, young woman he fell in love with. What women sometimes don’t realize is that the man doesn’t want to be married to his mother; he wants to be married to you. Be yourself and mesmerize him with your own talents. It’ll pay off in the long run.

2. Doubt his word when he gives you no reason to do so

Trust is one of the most important things in a relationship. If you can’t trust your mate, you may as well hang it up. It’s not going to work. If you have doubts about his honesty, something is wrong. Unless you can work it out whatever is bothering you, the relationship will fail.

Repressing your thoughts and opinions is stifling your self-growth as you know, so say what’s on your mind without bottling it up. Your soul mate will respect that and think more of you.

4. Rely on your soul mate to make you happy

I must have preached this a million times. No one can make you happy but yourself. If you have to have someone in your life or if you rely on your soul mate to provide the happiness that you can’t provide yourself, what is going to happen is that your soul mate is going to back off because the relationship is off balance. To create a happy and harmonious relationship with your soul mate, do things you love to do and became the person someone would want to love.

5. Crowd his/her space

Togetherness goes hand in hand for the soul mate relationship, but what happens when there’s no time for exploring one’s self? While we may or may not be aware of it, we’re creating an atmosphere of total consumption. Allow your mate to have interests outside of yours and you do the same. Before long, you’ll be creating a well-rounded and happy relationship that will last a lifetime.

6. Take the other one for granted

Finally, don’t let day-to-day routine become so monotonous that you forget the wonderful person you fell in love with. Soul mates

Namaste, a Hindu expression, roughly translates into “that which is of the Divine in me greets that which is of the Divine in you.” And when we reflect on this simple expression, we find that the Sanskrit language of the soul resonates with us all on a deeper, more spiritual level — and this is how, too, many a soul can reacquaint itself with its identical counterpart.

Believe it or not, our intuition plays an essential role in discovering exactly who our soul mates are. Throughout our lifetimes, we have certainly come upon an individual to whom we’re inclined. Suddenly, you feel this sense of “knowing” — though you’ve never met that person before. And, it is in that “chance meeting” that we discover how much alike we are. The “chance meeting,” however, is no accident; a matter of fact, it is not by chance at all. There are no “accidents” in life. Remember, every encounter and every facet of our lives is laid out for us to explore — including the journey in finding our soul mates.

Whether or not one believes in the possibility of reincarnation, it is important to note that each of us has at one time or another met an individual to whom we’ve been drawn like a magnet. Accordingly, our mutual bond helps us to rediscover the life light in each other. Perhaps in a not-too-distant past, we shared experiences and/or love, and that is what has drawn us together. There are NO accidents in these “chance encounters.”

But how do you discover your soul mate? That depends entirely on how evolved you are on a spiritual plane. Euphoric love is such a heightened state of emotional awareness that one could liken this feeling to the ultimate high. And when we have opened ourselves up to invite another into our sacred space of love, we often discover the vast similarities of our likes and dislikes…but that is simply not enough to awaken our soul mate experience. One must resolve to live in an absolute state of awareness, unlike “euphoric love,” but that of Divine love to reignite the passion and discovery of one’s soul mate.

You see, the difference between a state of euphoria and a relaxed state of heightened awareness is that our sense of heightened awareness is what essentially gives us the innate ability to “see” who are twin soul mate is; not like euphoria — the beginning stage of infatuation, which can sometimes blind us from the truth of the matter.

So here we are, another Valentine’s Day, and we still haven’t discovered our soul mate — don’t be discouraged. Many travelers haven’t found their soul mate because they’ve been all-consumed by either euphoria or emotional blockages. But don’t despair; there is a way to rediscover your twin flame in the vast expanse that we call Earth: First, we must throw out all preconceptions and misconception of what love is supposed to be. There are no perfect physical unions, but there can be perfect spiritual unions. And when we resolve to love others with absolute love, we discover a whole new realm of life.

If you haven’t honed in on your inner wisdom, now is the time to do so. Now ask yourself, “Am I looking for love?” or “Am I seeking my soul mate?” Which of the two do you desire most? If you’ve decided on the latter and truly want to reunite your soul mates, then you must nurture your inner consciousness. Awaken your mind through meditation, peaceful reflection and gear up for the expedition of your life. If you are intended to meet your soul mate, you will. The intention, however, must coexist in both your mental and emotional being. To achieve this state of awareness, you must be focused on your anticipated result.

How do you know if you’ve met your soul mate? Like two small embers, sparks will ignite an inferno of emotions. You will be flooded with a sense of “knowingness” on a very soul-full level. This is not euphoria, rather, a very intense state of emotional, mental, and spiritual unity that transcends the normalcy of physical love. The nicest part of this soul mate reunion is that once you have received it, it remains steadfast in your life. The flames can never be distinguished.

Are you ready to explore and fulfill your destiny with your soul mate? All things are possible through God — and yes, even finding your soul mate is one of those possibilities.
